ERIC C. BRINGAS
Originally from San Francisco, CA and graduated from San Jose State University in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. While at San Jose State Eric was involved in many academic projects that focused on Sports Psychology, Motor Learning, and Biomechanics. In conjunction with his academic endeavors, he was a speed and development intern at the Riekes Center for Human Enhancement. He also hosted a USA Weightlifting certification program and is a certified USA Weightlifting Coach.
Eric’s career in Strength & Conditioning began in 2010 at the Riekes Center, after completion of his internship, and still in college Eric transitioned to a Strength & Conditioning Coach. At the Riekes Center, Eric coached a great variety of athletes at all levels of competition ranging from youth, high school, college, professional, and Paralympic ranks.
In 2013, Eric began his tenure as a Head Athletic Performance Coach and facility manager with Revolution Athletic Performance and Sports Health Science in Alameda, CA. At Revolution Sports Eric coached Collegiate, NBA, and NFL athletes, he also lead many team-training programs for numerous high school football and volleyball teams. As part of his leadership with the high school programs, Eric and his staff provided professional style combines with conjunction with BAM (Basic Athletic Measurement) that provided athletic performance assessments and health screenings.
In 2014, Eric served as the technology liaison and assistant coach on behalf of Revolution Sports and BAM at two NBA pre draft camps; the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and NBA pre-draft invitational combine hosted by the Los Angeles Clippers. Also, in 2014 Eric was a member of BAM’s coaching staff for the Adidas Nations Global 2014 Basketball Experience.
In the fall of 2014, Eric joined the coaching staff of Team Esface Basketball, a SF Bay Area Basketball academy. Eric’s coaching responsibilities are with Team Esface Strength a new start up venture based in Palo Alto, CA. With Team Esface Strength, Eric has lead off-season strength programs for Dominican University Men’s and Women’s Basketball Team and served as a assistant coach for a pre-season combine for Prolific Prep Basketball Academy in Napa, CA. At Team Esface Strength Eric serves as Head Coach, and along with his coaching responsibility is the Coordinator for Technology, Internship Program, and Social Media.
In spring of 2015, Eric joined the staff of Dr. Ting Sports Rehabilitation, as an exercise physiology specialist.
In the fall of 2015, Eric also has joined the coaching staff of Murray Athletic Development as a head coach with sport technology responsibilities.
