Today our guest is Associate Head Coach of the Stanford Women’s Basketball Team Kate Paye. Kate, is a native of Woodside, Calif., and in her 14th year with Stanford’s Women’s Basketball program. Kate was also a four-year member of the Stanford women's basketball team that claimed the national championship in 92’ and advanced to the Final Four in 95’. Concluding her collegiate career Kate earned the accolades of being a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic selection and two-time team captain.Kate earned her bachelor's degree in political science, and also graduated with distinction with both her Masters in Law and Business at Stanford. While finishing her two masters, Kate also pursued a pro career playing for the the Seattle Reign of the ABL, and later for the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA. Kate talks about how transitions in life teach us to be resilient, and how following her passion after retirement as a PRO lead her back home to Maples Pavilion.
